Disclaimer
Tiller is an educational tool, not a financial adviser. Nothing on this platform — templates, backtests, metrics, explanations, or emails — is investment advice or a recommendation to trade anything.
You own every strategy you run. The templates are teaching examples of classic strategy types. You choose the rules, the parameters, and the risk settings; the platform executes what you configured and explains what it did.
Backtests describe the past, not the future. A strategy that performed well on historical data can perform badly tomorrow. We show out-of-sample results and plain-English warnings precisely because backtests flatter.
Demo money only. Version 1 connects exclusively to broker practice accounts. Live-money tokens are detected and rejected. The demo balance can go down — that is what practicing means — but no real funds can be accessed or lost.
Trading real money is risky. If a future version ever supports live trading, leveraged forex trading can lose more than you deposit and is unsuitable for many people. Nothing about this platform changes that.
